Primary Purpose:
Direct and manage the business operations of the district including accounting, budget, payroll, purchasing, and financial reporting. Execute and provide strategic leadership and coordination of the district's long-term financial goals, ensuring the alignment of federal and state programs, while maintaining strong internal controls and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Serve as liaison between the Business Office and other departments, maintaining open and effective communication and alignment with district leadership priorities.
Qualifications/Certifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university, preferably in accounting, finance, or a related field
TASBO or similar school finance certification preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years of accounting, finance, or business management experience
Experience in public education or governmental finance preferred
Experience with federal and state programs or grants management preferred
