The Commercial team at EyePoint focuses on bringing innovative therapies to patients by ensuring healthcare providers, partners, and communities have access to treatment, reimbursement, and are able to use the product appropriately. This team uses data-driven insights, market access strategies, and a patient-centric approach to improve awareness, access, and adoption of EyePoint's therapies to help improve vision outcomes for people with serious retinal diseases.

The Executive Director, Marketing Operations & Analysis will architect and lead the operational infrastructure required to support a successful DURAVYU launch and sustained commercial execution. This leader owns marketing project management, campaign workflows, promotional review processes, agency management, market research, performance analytics, congress operations, and budget management - serving as the operational backbone of the Marketing and Strategy organization.

EyePoint is building its commercial infrastructure to support the anticipated launch of DURAVYU for wet AMD. This role is critical in ensuring the Marketing and Strategy team operates with efficiency, compliance, and data-driven rigor as EyePoint transitions from a development-stage to a commercial-stage organization.

Reporting to the SVP, Marketing and Strategy, this role will partner closely with all marketing functional leads, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Medical Affairs, and external agency partners.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Operations Infrastructure

  • Design and implement marketing operations systems, tools, and processes to support launch and commercial growth.
  • Stand up marketing project management frameworks, campaign workflows, and agency management processes from the ground up.
  • Develop scalable processes for program management, vendor oversight, and cross-functional workflow optimization.
  • Ensure launch readiness across people, process, and technology.
  • Manage the marketing technology stack and digital infrastructure.

Market Research, Performance Measurement & ROI Analytics

  • Lead the market research strategy (primary and secondary) to inform DURAVYU commercial decisions.
  • Design KPIs, dashboards, and attribution models to budget and measure the effectiveness of HCP, P2P, patient, and field marketing investments.
  • Manage analytics for marketing performance, campaign effectiveness, and program ROI.
  • Translate data and insights into actionable recommendations for marketing and functional leads.
  • Oversee key external research vendor relationships.

Congress & Conference Operations Management

  • Own end-to-end planning, logistics, sponsorship execution, and operational coordination for EyePoint''s presence at retina congresses and retina industry events.
  • Partner with Field Marketing on congress strategy and content, while owning all operational execution.
  • Direct logistics and coordination for field teams, booth management, and promotional activities at major events.
  • Own congress budgets, vendor contracts, and post-event reporting.
  • Develop a tiered congress strategy aligned with brand objectives and KOL engagement priorities.

Promotional Compliance, MLR Review & Budget Management

  • Drive promotional compliance and manage the medical/legal/regulatory (MLR) review process for all promotional materials.
  • Ensure timely, compliant asset delivery for launch and ongoing promotional cycles.
  • Manage marketing budget planning, tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Oversee agency contracts, vendor agreements, and cross-functional budget coordination.
  • Ensure on-time, on-budget launch execution and ongoing operational excellence.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor''s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Experience

  • 12+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology marketing operations, commercial operations, or marketing analytics experience.
  • Experience building marketing operations infrastructure in a pre-launch or early commercial environment.
  • Proven expertise in marketing analytics, performance measurement, and ROI modeling.
  • Experience managing MLR review processes and promotional compliance.
  • Strong project management and vendor management skills.
  • Experience managing large marketing budgets and agency relationships.

Knowledge & Capabilities

  • Knowledge of retina disease space, HCP engagement models, and specialty pharma marketing.
  • Expertise in marketing technology, CRM systems, and digital analytics platforms.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational execution.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Ophthalmology or retinal disease market experience.
  • Experience with congress and conference operations management.
  • Experience with buy-and-bill market models and physician-administered therapies.
  • Biotechnology launch experience within a pre-commercial or emerging-growth organization.
