    Description

    As an Executive Director in Auto Finance, you will play a critical leadership role supporting the Retail & Consumer strategic business unit. You will lead financial planning, forecasting, performance management, and strategic decision support activities while partnering closely with senior business leaders to drive growth, profitability, and operational excellence. This role offers the opportunity to influence key business decisions through financial insight, executive reporting, and forward-looking analysis while leading a high-performing finance team.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead annual budget, forecast, outlook, stress testing and strategic planning processes for the Retail & Consumer business.
    • Partner with senior business leaders to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and influence strategic decisions.
    • Direct monthly and quarterly financial reviews, providing actionable insights and recommendations to executive management.
    • Develop and enhance executive reporting, forecasting models, management dashboards, and decision-support analytics.
    • Analyze key business drivers, customer trends, profitability metrics, and portfolio performance to inform business strategy.
    • Lead headcount planning, expense management, and investment prioritization activities.
    • Identify financial risks and opportunities and communicate implications to business and finance leadership.
    • Drive process improvement, automation, and reporting enhancements to improve efficiency, scalability, and controls.
    • Partner across Finance, Risk, Product, Operations, Treasury, and Corporate functions to support enterprise initiatives and business objectives.
    • Lead, coach, and develop a team of finance professionals while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
    • Ensure compliance with firm policies, governance standards, and financial controls.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor''s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
    • Significant experience in financial planning and analysis, business management, corporate finance, or a related function.
    • Demonstrated experience influencing senior executives and supporting strategic business decisions.
    • Experience leading teams and developing talent within a dynamic business environment.
    • Strong analytical, financial modeling, forecasting, and problem-solving skills.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex information into executive-level insights.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, lead through ambiguity, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
    • Advanced proficiency in financial reporting, data analysis, and presentation development.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience supporting consumer lending, auto finance, banking, or financial services businesses.
    • MBA, CPA, CFA, or other advanced business or financial designation.
    • Experience leading large-scale forecasting, transformation, or performance management initiatives.
    • Demonstrated success implementing automation, reporting enhancements, or data-driven process improvements.
    • Experience presenting to executive committees and senior leadership forums.
    • Strong understanding of profitability analysis, business case development, and strategic investment evaluation.
