This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with 6+ years of executive compensation and employee benefits experience, particularly involving public company matters, M&A transactions, and private equity deals.
Responsibilities:
Advise public and private company clients on executive compensation and employee benefits matters
Draft and review executive employment, severance, retention, and change-in-control agreements
Counsel clients on equity and non-equity incentive compensation plans
Handle employee benefits aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and private equity transactions
Advise on tax-qualified and nonqualified retirement plans
Assist with public company executive compensation disclosures and governance matters
Work directly with clients and manage sophisticated compensation and benefits projects
Qualifications:
JD from an accredited law school
Active bar admission and good standing
6+ years of executive compensation and employee benefits experience
Experience with public company executive compensation disclosures
Experience supporting M&A and private equity transactions
Knowledge of retirement plans, incentive compensation plans, and executive employment arrangements
Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
Excellent academic credentials and commitment to client service
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: $270,000 – $410,000
