About the Role:Hammer and Nails is looking for a skilled and passionate Barber to join our team in Raleigh and/or Chapel Hill, NC! This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your craft to a welcoming environment where talent is valued and clients leave looking and feeling their best.
Responsibilities:- Perform precision haircuts, fades, tapers, and style services for a diverse clientele
- Provide straight razor shaves, beard trims, and grooming services
- Build and maintain a loyal client base through exceptional customer service
- Consult with clients to understand their desired look and offer professional recommendations
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workstation in compliance with state regulations
- Stay current with the latest barbering trends, techniques, and styles
Requirements:- Valid North Carolina Barber/Cosmetologist License
- Proven experience as a barber/stylist with a strong portfolio of cuts and styles
- Proficiency in fades, tapers, line-ups, and classic barbering techniques
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple clients
- Passion for the craft and commitment to ongoing skill development
