** This is not a traditional administrative support role. The firm is seeking a polished, experienced professional who is accustomed to supporting executives, partners, attorneys, advisors, or high-level client work in a CPA firm, law firm, financial services firm, or other professional services environment.

The ideal candidate brings strong executive-level support and client service skills, exceptional attention to detail, and experience managing complex documents, competing priorities, confidential information, and critical deadlines. Tax experience is highly valued but not required for someone with the right professional services background and ability to learn tax processes and systems.

    What You'll Do:

    • Coordinate and process individual and business tax returns, extensions, estimates, engagement letters, organizers, and other client deliverables.
    • E-file tax returns and extensions, monitor acknowledgments and rejections, and coordinate resolution of filing issues.
    • Track deadlines, extensions, estimates, outstanding documents, and client deliverables.
    • Serve as a point of contact for clients, assisting with document requests, deadlines, portal access, and routine process-related questions.
    • Maintain accurate and organized electronic client files and confidential documentation.
    • Work within tax preparation, workflow, document management, and client portal systems.
    • Manage multiple client matters and projects simultaneously while ensuring deadlines and follow-up items are completed.
    • Research questions, identify issues, and determine when matters should be escalated to a tax professional.
    • Collaborate with tax professionals and administrative team members to keep client work moving efficiently.
    • Assist with workflow and process improvements across the Tax practice.
    • Handle sensitive client and firm information with a high degree of discretion and confidentiality.
    • Provide additional support during peak tax seasons and other high-volume periods.

    What We're Looking For:

    • 5+ years of executive administrative, tax, legal, financial services, or other professional services experience.
    • Experience supporting senior-level professionals and managing complex documents, client deliverables, projects, and critical deadlines.
    • Exceptional organization, attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
    • Polished communication and client service skills with the discretion to handle sensitive and confidential information.
    • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and document/workflow management systems; CCH experience is a plus.
    • Prior tax or public accounting experience is preferred but not required; must be comfortable learning tax processes, terminology, and filing requirements.

    Compensation and Schedule

This is an hourly role with occasional overtime around deadlines, though significant overtime is not expected throughout the year. Compensation is competitive and based on experience.
