Education, general: Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or related field, plus two (2) years of administrative support experience OR High School Diploma/GED, plus six (6) years of administrative support experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must also be proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preference given to the applicant with cutting edge skills utilizing organizational software such as Box, Adobe Suite, RedCap database development and management skills, Workday experience, and professional caliber social media communications and experience with SharePoint.

Responsibilities
Manage the Chair’s calendar, travel arrangements, meetings, correspondence, and departmental activities.
Coordinate communication with faculty, staff, and other departments across campus.
Prepare presentations, reports, correspondence, meeting materials, and minutes.
Maintain departmental spreadsheets, databases, files, and records.
Process and reconcile faculty and staff travel expenses and the department’s BTA card account.
Procure departmental supplies and services and process purchase requisitions in Workday.
Identify and apply the appropriate cost centers for departmental expenses.
Serve as the departmental timekeeper and assist with screening applicant resumes.
Provide administrative support to the Department Administrator, faculty, and resident physicians.
Track faculty and resident expenditures from designated fund accounts.
Manage general office operations, including phone calls, visitors, mail, faxes, office supplies, and housekeeping requests.
Protect sensitive and confidential information.
Perform other duties as assigned.
