    Our Client is seeking a highly organized and professional Executive Assistant to support the City Attorney's Office. This role serves as a key administrative partner to the City Attorney and legal team, providing executive-level support in a fast-paced legal environment serving City leadership, departments, boards, commissions, and the public.

    This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in executive administration, legal administration, office management, government administration, paralegal support, accounting, payroll, human resources, and professional office operations.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide executive-level administrative support to the City Attorney's Office.
    • Manage calendars, meetings, appointments, and office schedules.
    • Assist with drafting, preparing, and processing correspondence and legal documents.
    • Maintain physical and electronic filing systems.
    • Coordinate travel arrangements, conference registrations, and expense reimbursements.
    • Process invoices, purchasing requests, accounts payable documentation, and credit card reconciliations.
    • Support payroll, timekeeping, and human resources-related functions.
    • Manage office supply inventory and vendor coordination.
    • Conduct research and assist with special projects.
    • Communicate professionally with City Council members, boards, commissions, staff, and the public.
    Qualifications
    Candidates must meet one of the following:
    • Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of progressive office administration experience; OR
    • Associate degree in Business, Office Administration, Accounting, Finance, Paralegal Studies, or related field and at least 5 years of relevant experience; OR
    • High school diploma or equivalent and at least 10 years of progressive office administration experience.
    Additional Requirements:
    • North Carolina Notary Public certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.
    • Valid driver's license.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience in a law firm, legal department, government legal office, or in-house counsel environment.
    • Experience supporting executives, attorneys, or senior leadership.
    • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and business software applications.
