The Alexa Product/Marketing Org is looking for an Executive Assistant who wants to work in a fast-paced, exciting, and growing organization that is leading the way in Alexa AI and re-imagining the future of Alexa experiences. We are looking for someone to support two Directors in the Alexa Subscriptions Growth team and Alexa Engagement teams. The role will be based in Seattle, WA.

This Executive Assistant will be responsible for handling highly confidential information and maintaining professionalism in dealing with senior executives and stakeholders. Role responsibilities include managing multiple complex calendars, planning and organizing events of all sizes, and coordinating domestic and international travel. This candidate will help build a positive team environment and establish working relationships inside and outside of the group as well as establish mechanisms and processes where necessary.

Key job responsibilities

This position has an in-office requirement of at least 5 days a week.

  • Management of complex calendar and scheduling requirements
  • Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up regularly to drive the business forward • Organize, prioritize and appropriately handle time-sensitive, confidential information and ensure action required is addressed in a timely manner
  • Act as a liaison for direct reports
  • Drive key team activities (such as staff meeting agendas, all-hands meetings, morale events)
  • Travel coordination and expense reports
  • Manage domestic and international travel as needed
  • Partner with others for space planning across team locations
  • Have fun at work and help others do the same

This exciting role requires attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, great organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple critical requests.

A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior leaders and engineers inside the company is important, as is a good sense of humor.

You will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with minimal guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action with ambiguity and show grace under pressure.
