We are seeking experienced Excavator Operators to join a growing construction team working on large-scale data center construction and site development projects throughout the Austin area. This is a great opportunity for operators who take pride in their work, have strong equipment operating skills, and want to be part of major commercial construction projects.
Excavator operating experience is the primary requirement for this position. Experience operating additional heavy equipment is a plus, as operators may have opportunities to work with a variety of machinery depending on project needs.
Safely and efficiently operate excavators on large-scale site development and data center construction projects.
Perform excavation, grading, trenching, and other earthwork activities.
Assist with site preparation, underground utilities, and general site development.
Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
Work alongside laborers, pipe crews, and other equipment operators to keep projects on schedule.
Maintain a safe and productive jobsite.
Previous experience operating excavators in commercial construction, civil construction, or site development.
Ability to safely operate excavators in a variety of jobsite conditions.
Experience operating additional heavy equipment (dozers, loaders, skid steers, etc.) is a plus.
Understanding of construction site safety and equipment maintenance.
Reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a crew.
Willingness to travel for out-of-town projects is a major plus.
Primary need is in the Austin, TX area.
Opportunities for additional out-of-town work may be available.
Per diem is provided for qualifying out-of-town assignments.
Candidates willing to travel will have access to additional project opportunities.
