Empowered Staffing is partnered with a National Provider to Healthcare facilities of Environmental Services and we are seeking an experienced Environmental Services District Manager to oversee multiple sites across the Hartford, CT and Baltimore, MD areas. They are looking for a hands-on EVS leader to oversee multiple facilities, develop and retain strong teams, maintain client relationships, and drive operational, financial, quality, safety, and compliance standards across their assigned district. What You'll Be Doing:

• Oversee Environmental Services operations across multiple skilled nursing and healthcare facilities within an assigned territory.
• Lead, coach, and support EVS Directors, supervisors, and facility teams while helping develop and retain strong leadership.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with facility leadership and serve as a key point of contact for clients.
• Monitor facility performance and identify operational issues, staffing needs, and opportunities for improvement.
• Manage budgets, PL performance, labor hours, staffing levels, supplies, and other operating expenses.
• Conduct regular facility visits, inspections, and quality reviews to ensure housekeeping, laundry, floor care, safety, and sanitation standards are maintained.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, client contracts, and applicable state, federal, and regulatory requirements.
• Review payroll, timesheets, staffing, personnel, and other operational reports.
• Support recruiting, hiring, training, development, and performance management across the district.
• Address employee, safety, compliance, and operational issues as needed.
• Support client retention, contract performance, and the successful operation of each facility within the district.

Required Skills Experience:

• 2+ years of Environmental Services or housekeeping experience in a supervisory or management role within a healthcare environment.
• Multi-site management experience strongly preferred.
• Experience within skilled nursing, long-term care, hospital, or another healthcare environment.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping, laundry, floor care, sanitation, safety, and infection-control procedures.
• Experience managing budgets, labor, expenses, and/or PL performance.
• Strong client relationship, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead, develop, and retain managers and frontline teams.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple facilities and competing priorities.
• Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory based on operational needs.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Bachelor’s degree in management or a related field preferred, but not required.
