The Events Team Member is expected to provide excellent guest service to all guests and to always display a vast amount of knowledge of the facility's programs and offerings.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:Guest ServicesGreet guests and use a touch screen cash register to sell concessions and bar items.Provide courteous and friendly service to all guestsSetup rooms with tables, chairs, pipe and drape and place settings.Setup bleachers, bars, and any other items needed for various events.Assist with cleaning and taking out garbage, as needed.Complete special projects, daily assignments and other duties as directed by managementMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays and long hours)Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environmentMust have excellent guest service skillsMust be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skillsAbility to multi-task, prioritize, and remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situationsMust be respectful and friendly to our athletes, guests, visitors, spectators, leaders and fellow Team MembersMust work well with othersCommitment to the safety and well-being of othersCustomer service and cash handling experience preferred or quick study WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist highMay be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bendFacility has intermittent noisePREFERRED:Have a basic understanding of eventsCustomer service experienceEvent experience
