POSITION OVERVIEW
SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
Cornerstone seeks a full-time, team-oriented individual to join our Operations team in our Washington, D.C. office to manage the planning and execution of the firm's internal and external events.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Planning, coordinating, and executing internal and external events, including offsites, panel discussions, webinars, employee engagement programs, sponsorship activities, political fundraising events, and other business development initiatives;
- Managing all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual support, transportation, and onsite event execution;
- Overseeing event budgets, contracts, invoices, vendor relationships, and expense tracking;
- Managing event communications, including invitations, guest lists, RSVP tracking, attendee correspondence, and post-event follow-up;
- Managing branded event materials, promotional items, signage, and swag distribution;
- Collaborating with internal teams to support event marketing, attendee outreach, and overall event strategy;
- Assisting with day-to-day event needs and special projects, as assigned. Including able to work early mornings and late evenings.

KEY REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate for this position has a bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of event planning experience. Experience with Canva and graphic design platforms required. Preference will be given to candidates who have managed events both in the public and private sectors.
BENEFITS
Base salary for this position shall be based on experience and level of education and range from $75,000 to $95,000. Employees are eligible for annual performance-based bonuses as well as full coverage of medical, dental, vision, life and long-term disability insurance premiums. In addition, employees are eligible to receive a 401(k)-employer match and shares in the firm's employee stock ownership plan, upon entry into the plan. Employees are eligible for paid time off and additional fringe benefits to perform their job duties (parking, cell phone coverage, etc.).
