Events Lead

Summary: The Events Lead supports the planning and execution of all ZO Skin Health events across B2B, DTC, and internal corporate channels. This role is responsible for on-ground event support and lo-fi content capture for social media and marketing use. The Events Lead ensures seamless event logistics and creates compelling content that brings ZO events to life across digital platforms. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Event Support: Assist Senior Manager with all aspects of event planning and execution for trade shows, symposiums, master classes, ambassador summits, consumer activations, and internal corporate events (e.g., Global Sales Meeting). 

• Coordinate on-site logistics including registration, attendee management, vendor liaison, and run-of-show execution. 

• Support event marketing materials, invitations, swag bags, and promotional collateral preparation. 

• Manage event timelines and checklists, ensuring all deliverables are met on schedule. 

• Support internal corporate events including logistics coordination, materials preparation, and on-site execution. 

• Content Capture: Lead lo-fi content capture at all B2B, DTC, and internal events including video, photography, Instagram Stories, TikTok, and behind-the-scenes content. 

• Coordinate with Social Media Manager to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and social content calendar. 

• Capture testimonials, product demonstrations, and speaker highlights for marketing use. 

• Edit and deliver event content in real-time for same-day social posting when required. 

• Travel to events domestically and internationally (if needed) to provide on-ground support and content capture. 

• Maintain event asset libraries, photo/video archives, and content databases. 

• Support post-event reporting, attendee surveys, and performance analysis.  

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

• 3 years of experience in event coordination, content creation, or marketing, preferably within beauty, skincare, or consumer brands. 

• Strong content creation skills including video capture, photography, and basic editing for social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube). 

• Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills. 

• Proficiency in social media platforms, content editing tools (CapCut, Canva, Adobe), and Microsoft Office Suite. 

• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (40-50%) for event execution. 

• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends during event periods. 

• Self-starter with ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 

Work Environment: The work environment is indoors in a professional office environment. The floor surfaces are carpeted in office areas and conference rooms with vinyl floor covering typical in hallways, break rooms and computer rooms. Frequent travel to event venues is required. 

Work Hours: The work schedule is 5 days per week, 8 hours per day. Initial start time may vary, with work hours typically from 8am-5pm. Work hours and shifts are subject to change depending on operating business conditions and needs. Extended hours and weekend work required during event periods. The position resides in Orange County but is hybrid with 2 days being remote work. 

Physical and Mental Demands: Sedentary to light work, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally to move event materials and equipment. This job requires sitting, standing, and walking during event setup and execution. Content capture requires extended periods of standing and mobility. The employee must know and follow proper safety protocols and maintain a professional and polished appearance.

 Pay Range: $64,000 - $85,000
