Do you enjoy meeting people, staying organized, and being involved in your local community? We’re looking for an outgoing, dependable Events Coordinator to help Gentry Home Services connect with homeowners throughout Middle Tennessee.
We’re a local, family-owned company serving customers through Mr. Rooter Plumbing, Mr. Handyman, Hendersonville Bath, and Gentry Heating & Air. We need someone who can take ownership of our events—from finding and booking opportunities to making sure our booths are staffed and ready to go.
What You’ll Do
- Find and book local farmers markets, festivals, home shows, community events, and other opportunities to reach homeowners.
- Manage the event calendar, applications, registration deadlines, fees, and organizer communication.
- Coordinate team schedules so you have someone working each event alongside you.
- Attend and work events, welcome visitors, explain our services, and help interested homeowners schedule appointments.
- Organize booth setup and breakdown, including tents, tables, signs, displays, and promotional materials.
- Train and support event team members so everyone can confidently represent our brands.
- Keep accurate records of leads and appointments and turn them in promptly for office follow-up.
- Track event costs, leads, and appointments to help us decide which events to book again.
- Keep event supplies organized and ready for the next event.
Who We’re Looking For
- Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable starting conversations.
- Organized enough to manage several events and staffing schedules at once.
- Dependable and willing to take ownership of getting things done.
- Comfortable asking interested homeowners to schedule a service or consultation.
- Able to work outdoors and help transport, set up, and take down booth materials.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to local events.
- Experience in events, customer service, sales, promotions, or team coordination is helpful.
Schedule
This position works Thursday through Sunday, four 10-hour days, with Monday through Wednesday off. Start and end times will vary based on event schedules. Reliable weekend availability is required.
