Event Associate Opportunity

Event Associate opportunity at a leading financial services firm. Four days onsite in Midtown, Manhattan. Up to $120K base.

Our client is a leading global asset manager with a collaborative culture. The events team is large, offering opportunity for exposure across different types of events and internal mobility.

Job Description

Manage participation, memberships, and sponsorships across 100+ global industry conferences annually. Oversee 15+ conferences simultaneously, ensuring seamless planning and execution. Act as the primary relationship manager for conference organizers, sponsors, and external vendors. Negotiate sponsorship packages and manage all associated deliverables and deadlines. Coordinate booth activations, signage, branded materials, gifts, transportation, hotel room blocks, and meeting space requirements. Manage speaker and delegate registrations, attendance, and logistics. Partner with Investor Relations, Legal, Compliance, Corporate Communications, Relationship Managers, and other internal stakeholders. Track budgets, process invoices, manage reconciliations, and monitor event spend. Maintain conference calendars, trackers, and reporting documentation. Provide onsite support at select conferences and flagship events globally.

The Successful Applicant

Six-eight years' experience in events, sponsorships, project management, or marketing. Financial services, asset management, private equity, or investment industry experience preferred. Proven ability to manage multiple high-profile projects and deadlines simultaneously. Strong event logistics, vendor management, and sponsorship activation experience. Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and solutions-focused. Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with global stakeholders. Bachelor's degree required.
