Description

We are seeking a highly organized, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Events Assistant to support 

the planning and execution of a wide range of events. In this dynamic role, you will assist with day-to-day logistics, on-site event coordination, and post-event follow-up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and organizing internal events such as meetings, tradeshows, weddings, 

birthdays and other social events.

• Assist the Director of Events with daily administrative tasks to ensure smooth office 

operations.

• Distribute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) accurately and in a timely manner to relevant 

departments.

• Assist in billing reconciliation and process deposits related to events.

• Update and manage client leads and follow-ups using TripleSeat

• Handle incoming phone calls for the Events Department; return voicemails and direct 

inquiries appropriately.

• Input and manage all confirmed events into the OpenTable reservations system.

• Assist with on-site event setup as outlined in the BEO, including signage, table setup, menu 

printing, and liaising with the kitchen

• Perform additional assignments or tasks as needed to support the Events team

• This person will ideally also be trained as a front desk host to provide them with more hours 

and a better understanding of the restaurant.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in event planning, hospitality, marketing, restaurants or administrative 

support is preferred but not required

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with event and 

restaurant software (e.g., TripleSeat, Open Table) is a plus.

• Flexible schedule –requires evening and weekend work. Additionally, your schedule may 

adjust based on last minute event needs

• Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

Schedule:

• This role will be working approximately 1-2 days a week in the office, except for the month of 

December when you will be needed 3-4 days a week. Additional days will be offset with 

hosting shifts if looking for full time.

• Holidays – restaurant is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas

• Weekend availability

Experience:

• Events management: 1 year (Preferred but not required)

• Customer service: 1 year (Required)


Salary: $21.0 - $24.0 / Hourly
