Job Summary
The Program and Administrative Coordinator will provide administrative, logistical, and operational support for Life-Changing Education programs, events, and day-to-day activities. Reporting to the Project Manager, this position will help ensure that programs and events are well-organized, professionally executed, and aligned with unit priorities.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys administrative coordination, event logistics, problem solving, and supporting collaborative work across faculty, staff, students, and community partners. This role will also help provide supervision, coaching, and mentorship to undergraduate Program Assistants, supporting their professional development and engagement in LCE programming.
Responsibilities*
Event and Program Logistics (45%)
Support the logistical execution of LCE programs and events, including speaker events, workshops, conferences, showcases, and community-based initiatives.
Coordinate event details such as room reservations, catering, registration, supplies, signage, name tags, parking, and event materials.
Provide on-site event support, including setup, check-in, participant assistance, troubleshooting, and breakdown.
Support transportation needs, including driving University vehicles and transporting event materials, supplies, and equipment as needed.
Communicate with vendors, campus partners, speakers, participants, and attendees regarding logistical details, in partnership with the Project Manager.
Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes, event workflows, and participant experience.
