Event Specialist (Temporary - 6 Month Contract)
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Event Specialist to join our client's team on a 6-month temporary contract in Oceanside, CA. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys coordinating memorable events from start to finish.
Plan, coordinate, and execute events including meetings, corporate functions, and special programs
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams, vendors, and clients throughout the event lifecycle
Manage event logistics such as scheduling, venue setup, catering, audio/visual needs, and on-site coordination
Assist with event budgeting, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effective execution
Conduct site visits and ensure event spaces meet client expectations and brand standards
Prepare event materials, timelines, and run-of-show documents
Provide on-site support during events, troubleshooting issues as they arise
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless event delivery
Maintain accurate records of event details, contracts, and vendor communications
Evaluate event success and provide post-event reporting and feedback
Qualifications:
1-3+ years of experience in event coordination, hospitality, or related field
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Envision or Oracle software system experince is preferred
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Position Details:
Onsite role
6 month contract role
Compensation: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Located in Oceanside, CA
Full-time, Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm PST
