Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with the setup, execution, and teardown of catering events
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring guests are attended to during events
- Serve food and beverages according to established guidelines and presentation standards
- Collaborate with the kitchen and service team to ensure smooth event operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas during events
- Help with inventory tracking and control during events to reduce waste
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Book Catering and Private Dining events across all the brands at JTR Group.
- Develop relationships and outside sales leads for the JTR Group by networking, prospecting, and marketing our services and capabilities throughout the Tulsa area.
- Nurture the relationships already within the JTR Group by utilizing our guest database to build repeat business.
- Secure a contract and deposit for each Catering and Private Dining event booked.
- Coordinate with the Catering team on event details to secure the contract.
- Ensure event details are clearly communicated to the management teams at each location to execute service.
- Follow up with each host following their event to deliver gratitude and get feedback. Leave the door open for future repeat business.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3 years minimum prior experience in catering, banquet service, or hospitality preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A professional, customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality service
- An eye for profitability, minimizing waste, and controlling costs during events
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
