    Description

We are seeking an accomplished Event Manager to lead the planning and execution of our in-person, virtual, and hybrid events.

This is an ownership role for an organized, creative, and highly capable professional who can turn an event concept into a polished experience. You will work across the organization to develop event strategy, manage budgets and vendors, coordinate logistics and technology, and oversee successful execution from planning through completion.

You will have a direct impact on how we engage employees, clients, partners, and other key stakeholders.

    What You'll Do

    • Lead events from concept and planning through execution and post-event evaluation.
    • Develop event strategies, timelines, budgets, production plans, and operating checklists.
    • Manage in-person conferences, meetings, executive events, workshops, networking events, and corporate programs.
    • Plan and execute virtual and hybrid events, including webinars, presentations, online meetings, and digital experiences.
    • Coordinate venues, catering, audiovisual production, registration, technology, speakers, staffing, and other event requirements.
    • Manage event vendors, contracts, deliverables, and performance.
    • Maintain event budgets and ensure spending remains aligned with approved plans.
    • Partner with Marketing, Communications, leadership, and other teams to support event objectives and audience engagement.
    • Oversee onsite execution and serve as the central point of contact during live events.
    • Coordinate virtual rehearsals, technical preparation, speakers, moderators, and production teams.
    • Anticipate potential issues and resolve problems quickly during event execution.
    • Measure event performance, gather feedback, and continuously improve future events.

    What We're Looking For

    • 3–7+ years of relevant experience in event management, corporate events, conferences, meetings, marketing, hospitality, or a related field.
    • Demonstrated experience managing events independently from planning through completion.
    • Experience with both physical and virtual events.
    • Strong project-management, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience managing vendors, budgets, timelines, and multiple priorities.
    • Confidence working with executives, clients, speakers, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
    • Excellent attention to detail without losing sight of the overall event objective.
    • Ability to work onsite 2–3 days per week and provide additional onsite support during major events.
    • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required with relevant experience.

Experience in a software, technology, SaaS, professional-services, healthcare, or corporate environment is a plus.

    What Success Looks Like

You will be successful when you can consistently:

    • Deliver professional and engaging physical, virtual, and hybrid events.
    • Keep events organized, on schedule, and within approved budgets.
    • Build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
    • Anticipate and resolve problems before they affect the attendee experience.
    • Improve event processes and execution over time.
    • Create experiences that strengthen relationships with employees, clients, partners, and stakeholders.

    Compensation & Benefits

$100,000–$120,000 annualized salary, based on experience and qualifications.

    The position also includes:

    • $5,000 sign-on bonus
    • $200/month phone and internet stipend
    • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
    • Family/dependent coverage options
    • 401(k) and applicable company retirement benefits
    • Paid time off and company holidays
    • Professional development opportunities

    Hybrid & Contract Structure

The position follows a hybrid schedule, generally requiring 2–3 days of in-person attendance each week.

Additional onsite attendance may be required for major events, including setup, rehearsals, live execution, and breakdown. Occasional local or regional travel may also be required.

The initial appointment is 12 months, with the opportunity for renewal based on performance, business needs, and continued organizational requirements.

    Why Join Us?

This is an opportunity to own meaningful events rather than simply coordinate them.

You will combine event strategy, project management, creativity, technology, vendor leadership, and live execution while working with people across the organization.

If you are an event professional who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, and creating exceptional experiences in both physical and digital environments, we want to hear from you.
