Classic Party Rentals of Virginia is looking for dependable drivers to join our main event delivery team. This is active, hands-on work that combines driving, loading and unloading, order accuracy, teamwork, and customer service. Our General Equipment team handles the core rental inventory used at events - including china, glassware, flatware, catering equipment, tables, chairs, staging, dance floors, decor, and more. Tents and luxury restroom trailers are handled by separate operations teams.

Minimum Qualifications
- At least 18 years old.
- Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record that meets company insurance requirements.
- Reliable transportation to and from the company facility.
- Ability to read and follow work orders, equipment lists, route instructions, delivery notes, and safety procedures.
- Ability to count accurately, follow directions, and work effectively both independently and as part of a delivery crew.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card when required.
- Box-truck, delivery, moving, warehouse, logistics, furniture delivery, event rental, or similar hands-on experience is preferred.
The Physical and Scheduling Reality
This is physically demanding delivery and warehouse work. Candidates must be comfortable loading and unloading equipment, moving throughout venues, and working a variable event-based schedule.
- Regularly lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds independently, with team lifting or appropriate equipment for heavier or oversized items.
- Stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, push, pull, carry, climb stairs, and perform repetitive physical work for extended periods.
- Safely use carts, dollies, pallet jacks, ramps, straps, and other material-handling equipment.
- Work at venues with stairs, loading docks, gravel, grass, pavement, tight access points, and changing indoor or outdoor conditions.
- Spend extended periods driving, riding in company vehicles, loading, unloading, and moving equipment between the truck and delivery location. Be available for early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime when event schedules require it.
