A growing corporate communications and marketing team is seeking an Event Coordinator to support the planning and execution of high-impact internal and external events, sponsorships, and conferences. The role focuses on creating seamless, engaging experiences for employees, clients, and industry partners through well-executed programming and strong operational delivery. Client DetailsThis is a large, established financial services organization with a strong presence across the Americas and a highly visible corporate brand. The environment sits within a sophisticated corporate communications and marketing function that plays a key role in how the firm engages both internal employees and external clients.Description Support planning and execution of a range of events including conferences, client receptions, town halls, seminars, ERG programs, and branded sponsorship activationsCoordinate full event lifecycle: intake, scheduling, budgeting, venue sourcing, vendor coordination, contracts, speaker logistics, and on-site executionAssist with sponsorship and conference participation strategy, including identifying relevant industry opportunities and supporting business-aligned recommendationsManage event logistics such as invitations, registration platforms, attendee tracking, communications, and follow-upsOversee event inventory including tickets, promotional items, and branded materials, ensuring accurate tracking and compliance reportingCoordinate with internal teams (AV/IT, legal, compliance, creative, finance, and communications) to ensure smooth executionSupport external vendors, venues, and partners to deliver high-quality event experiencesMaintain event calendars, inboxes, and tracking systems to ensure organization and prioritization across multiple initiativesAssist with post-event reporting, including surveys, feedback collection, and recommendations for future improvements Profile 1-2 years of experience in events, sponsorships, marketing, or related coordination rolesStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with event planning processes including logistics, vendor management, and budgetingStrong communication skills and comfort working with senior stakeholdersHigh attention to detail and strong project management capabilitiesProficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and event management/registration toolsAbility to work collaboratively across teams and adapt in a matrixed environmentBachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferredFinancial services experience is a plus, but not required Job OfferThis role gives you hands-on exposure to high-visibility corporate events and sponsorships within a major financial services environment, helping shape how the firm presents itself to clients and employees.
