    Job Purpose:

    • The Therapist at Eagleville Hospital will provide high-quality therapeutic services to patients within the healthcare setting. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health and substance use disorders, with the aim of improving patients' overall well-being and helping them achieve their personal recovery goals. The Therapist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care and support. This is an evening position with hours and days to be discussed during the interview process.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their mental health and substance use treatment needs.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs and goals of each patient.
    • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
    • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate patient care.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
    • Educate patients and their families about mental health and substance use disorders, treatment options, and coping strategies.
    • Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with best practices in therapy and mental health care.
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of hospital policies and procedures related to therapeutic services.
    • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed to ensure patient safety and well-being.

    Required Education:

    • Masters degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.

    Required Experience:

    • Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, preferably within a hospital environment.
    • Experience in providing therapy to diverse populations, including individuals with mental health and substance abuse disorders.
    • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.

    Required Skills and Abilities:

    • Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices in mental health and substance abuse treatment.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in healthcare.
    • Proficiency in conducting assessments, diagnosing mental health conditions, and documenting patient progress.
    • Capability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
