Village Caregiving is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated individuals to join our team as Evening Caregivers. Our caregivers provide one-on-one, non-medical care to seniors and veterans in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Prepare and serve meals and assist with feeding when needed
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
- Complete light housekeeping, laundry, and household tasks
- Provide medication reminders
- Monitor and report changes in client condition to office staff
- Follow individualized care plans while maintaining client dignity and independence
- Accurately document care provided during each shift
Qualifications
- Previous caregiving, CNA, home health, or healthcare experience preferred but not required
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in clients’ homes
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
- Ability to pass a background check
