Responsible for designing and executing tests on components, features, or feature area. Will work independently and contribute to the immediate team and to other teams across business. Will lead test design discussions and test reviews.Responsibilities:Review system level requirements with agile team membersIdentify scope of work, provide estimatesDemonstrate understanding of agile software development lifecycle and deliverablesEngage in technical discussions, designs and present technical ideas through white boardingExecute in a fast paced delivery mode, delivering on tasks to meet the product release goalMaintain product quality through testing best practices, design techniques and automationSeek and provide feedback on test designs and executionUnderstand the whole product, its modules and the interrelationship between them while developing expertise in assigned modulesDevelop domain knowledge and show great customer focusArticulate need for scalability and understand the importance of improving quality through testingAssess application performance and optimize it with performance test techniques and toolsUnderstand core data structures and algorithms and test from an ETL perspectiveQualificationsRequirements:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in STEMMinimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development & testingWilling to work out of an office in Glen Allen, VAStrong experience with mainstream ETL tools (Talend, ab Initio, Informatica, SSIS, etc.) and ETL design patternsFamiliarity Selenium with Java or Java scriptKnowledge of Relational Database modeling and concepts (SQL, referential integrity, etc.)Experience with Relational Database Systems such as Postgres, MySQL, SQL Server, OracleExperience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB is a plusThank you.Warm Regards,Monil Patel
