Estimator - Transmission / Distribution / Substation Construction
We are looking for a full-time estimator to join our team of experienced professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of substation construction and maintenance, electrical transmission & distribution, and high voltage T&D.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit cost estimates for substation construction and maintenance projects.
Work with engineers and project managers to develop project plans and budgets.
Manage the bidding process for substation construction projects.
Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
Monitor project progress and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
5+ years of experience in substation construction and maintenance.
Strong understanding of electrical transmission & distribution systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
