Estimator & Project Manager - Steel Fabrication and Erection

A steel fabricator and erector serving Claycomo and the Kansas City Northland is looking for an Estimator / Project Manager. You'll bid structural and miscellaneous steel packages and lead the jobs you win, a great role for someone early to mid-career who wants ownership from takeoff to final erection.

The work:

• Coordinate the shop, field crews, detailers, and general contractors on every project
• Manage schedule, budget, and change orders as awarded work moves through fabrication and erection
• Complete takeoffs and estimates on structural and miscellaneous steel packages
• Track costs and keep RFIs and submittals moving
• Build bids and proposals with detailing, erection, and coatings quotes

Your background:

• Knowledge of structural and miscellaneous metals scopes
• Estimating software experience is a plus
• 2-8 years in steel estimating, project management, or a related construction field
• Engineering or construction management degree, or equivalent experience, preferred
• Strong at reading architectural and structural drawings

Compensation: $75,000 - $105,000 annually, with a sign-on bonus for top candidates from competitors and a yearly bonus opportunity.
