    Description

    Our company has been servicing areas across the country for over a decade. We are a rapidly growing company looking for a Fire/ Methane Alarm Estimator/Project Manager/Service Coordinator to join our team. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who has strong problem-solving skills, excellent customer service skills, and on the job fire alarm field experience.

    Fire/Methane Alarm Estimator/Project Manager Job Description

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Estimate and Manage Fire/Methane Gas/Vapor Mitigation Systems.
    • Working with our design team preparing mitigation plans.
    • Creating and responding to RFI’s.
    • Bidding new construction and service projects.
    • Scheduling & managing construction projects, service calls, Central Station monitoring for both fire and methane gas projects, and Los Angeles Fire Reg. 4 inspections.
    • Providing technical assistance to both clients and field crews.
    • Work and meet with contractors, inspectors, homeowners, property managers, and HOA’s.
    • Continuous R&D for business development.

    MUST HAVE:

    • At least 3 years of experience in installing, servicing, and maintaining fire alarm systems, access control and/or as a journeyman electrician.
    • Knowledge of major fire alarm equipment brands (such as EST, Notifier, Firelite, Ademco, and/or Silent Knight)
    • Familiarity with applicable codes (NEC, NFPA).
    • Manage time and materials with the ability to follow a full-time schedule.
    • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
    • Competent in AutoCAD and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat and database (software) programs.
    • Nice to Have:
    • State Certified as an Electrician and Fire/Life/Safety Technician or equivalent.
    • 2–4-year degree in a technical field from an accredited college or manufacture certification.
    • Knowledge of Methane Gas Detection Equipment (such as Sierra monitoring, Sensor Electronic, Draeger, Delphian, Honeywell
    • LA Fire Reg. 4 certification (Preferred)
