About the Company

We are partnered with a deep foundation specialty contractor with a very strong and growing backlog of work across New York state. Their projects range from $50K to $30M, supporting infrastructure, commercial, and industrial construction.

• Soldier Pile & Lagging
• Caissons
• Sheet Piling / Bulkheads
• Micropiles
• Auger Cast Piles (CFA)


Position Overview

We are seeking an Estimator / Project Manager to support both the preconstruction and execution phases of multiple deep foundation projects. This role will involve project estimating, cost control, scheduling coordination, and project management.

The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy civil or deep foundation construction, particularly with caissons, piling, and shoring systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project estimates including labor, equipment, and materials
• Perform quantity takeoffs and cost reviews for foundation projects
• Manage project budgets, cost tracking, and forecasting
• Coordinate project schedules, crews, and subcontractors
• Manage procurement of materials and equipment • Coordinate with general contractors and project stakeholders
• Process and manage change orders • Monitor project progress and support successful project delivery

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in deep foundation or heavy civil construction
• Experience with caissons, piling, sheet piling, micropiles, or shoring systems
• Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree preferred (relevant experience strongly considered)
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and AutoCAD
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
