Job Description

The Precon Manager will be responsible for:
    • Lead preconstruction efforts from conceptual budgeting through final proposal submission
    • Develop accurate cost estimates and project budgets
    • Collaborate with operations, design teams, subcontractors, and ownership groups
    • Participate in client meetings and project presentations
    • Support business development initiatives and help secure new project opportunities
    • Evaluate project risks, constructability concerns, and value engineering options
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and trade partners
    • Assist in developing pursuit strategies for targeted projects
    • Manage multiple preconstruction assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines

The Successful Applicant

The successful Precon Manager will have the following experience:
  • 5-10 years of preconstruction, estimating, or construction management experience
  • Proven ability to support project pursuits and help win new business
  • Experience presenting to clients and participating in stakeholder meetings
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Background working on commercial construction projects
  • Ability to develop budgets, estimates, and conceptual pricing
  • Proficient with industry-standard estimating and preconstruction tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
