As an Estimator, you will be joining a leading site work and utilities construction firm located in the Raleigh area. You will be joining a growing team that promotes internally and values hard work. The ideal candidate for this role is a skilled estimator with excellent technical skills and strong experience with materials take-off.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepares and estimates budget costs for construction by studying plans and specifications. Complete materials take-off.
- Use Agtek, AutoCAD and HCSS to create accurate plans & reports.
- Finalize and submit bid proposals.
- Process paperwork and travel to building sites as required, attend and contribute to Pre and Post Bid meetings.
Job Requirements
- Experience using HCSS, AgTek, and AutoCAD software professionally.
- 4 or more years of experience with take-off and estimating
- Strong mathematics skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects/tasks at once
- Close attention to detail and knowledge of building plans
