    We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator Mechanical Plumbing to join our team in Rockledge, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for mechanical plumbing projects, ensuring all aspects of the project are considered to support successful bidding and project execution.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical plumbing systems.
    • Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs to develop comprehensive bids.
    • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information and clarify project requirements.
    • Identify potential risks and opportunities in project scope and pricing.
    • Maintain and update estimating databases and cost records.
    • Prepare and submit bid proposals within established deadlines.
    • Assist in value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
    • Stay current with industry trends, codes, and regulations related to mechanical plumbing systems.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical plumbing estimating or related field.
    • Strong knowledge of mechanical plumbing systems, materials, and installation methods.
    • Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
    • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Familiarity with local codes and regulations in Florida is a plus.
