My client: My client is an award-winning Central Indiana general contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-profile commercial construction projects. Job Description
Estimator's Key Responsibilities:
- Lead conceptual through hard-bid estimating, including takeoffs, pricing, bid leveling, and final submission
- Partner with design teams on budgeting and cost feedback throughout design development
- Solicit, scope, and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids for accuracy and coverage
- Develop and maintain cost history, estimating databases, and assemblies
- Support implementation and optimization of estimating software and processes
- Review estimates with design, construction, and project teams to ensure scope and budget alignment
- Work directly with clients and design teams to provide conceptual pricing, value input, and detailed estimates

The Successful Applicant
The Successful Estimator:
- 2+ years of commercial GC estimating experience
- Strong understanding of preconstruction, estimating, and commercial construction
- Ability to collaborate with PMs, field teams, design partners, and senior leadership
- Proficient with industry-standard estimating software and construction technology
- Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
- Client-facing mindset with a focus on quality, transparency, and relationship building
- Driven to help grow the Indianapolis operation and take on increasing leadership responsibility long-term
