Key Responsibilities
• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for Division 10 scopes
• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents to ensure accurate pricing and complete scope coverage
• Solicit, analyze, and compare vendor and supplier quotations
• Identify scope gaps, project risks, exclusions, and value engineering opportunities
• Collaborate with project managers, suppliers, and general contractors throughout the bidding process
• Develop competitive and profitable proposals
• Maintain estimating databases, pricing information, and bid documentation
• Assist with project turnover and communication to operations following project award
Relevant Division 10 Experience May Include
• Toilet Partitions
• Toilet Accessories
• Lockers
• Fire Protection Specialties
• Operable Partitions
• Visual Display Boards
• Architectural Specialty Products
Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of construction estimating experience
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard business software
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Preferred Experience
• Previous Division 10 estimating experience
• Bluebeam, PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar estimating software
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
