Job Description

Prepare detailed cost estimates for data center construction projects. Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to create accurate bids. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure alignment with project goals. Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes. Maintain and update cost databases to reflect current market trends. Provide value engineering recommendations to optimize project costs. Prepare and present cost analysis and bid proposals to stakeholders. Monitor project progress to ensure alignment with the original estimate.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Estimator - Data Center should have: Experience with cost estimating in the construction industry, particularly in data center projects. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency with estimating software and tools. Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. A strong understanding of construction materials and market pricing.
