• Prepare conceptual, schematic, and detailed construction estimates.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing proposals.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and material pricing, with a strong focus on major building materials.
• Develop budgets and cost analyses for commercial construction projects.
• Maintain estimating databases, pricing information, and bid documentation.
• Collaborate with project teams to identify value engineering opportunities.
• Support preconstruction planning and project handoff activities.

A successful Estimator should have:

• 3-8 years of estimating, preconstruction, or construction operations experience.
• Experience within commercial construction, retail, mixed-use, light industrial, multifamily, or wood-frame construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction materials, means, methods, and pricing.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets.
• Experience performing quantity takeoffs and preparing detailed estimates.
• Strong organizational and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
