Estimator - Commercial Construction

Job Description
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed conceptual and hard bid estimates for commercial construction projects ranging from approximately $200K to $40M
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documentation to develop accurate cost projections
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Work closely with project management and preconstruction teams throughout the bidding process
- Prepare quantity takeoffs, scopes of work, and pricing packages
- Participate in value engineering efforts and budgeting exercises
- Assist with proposal preparation, bid submissions, and client presentations
- Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and industry partners

The Successful Applicant
A successful Estimator - Commercial Construction should have:
- Experience as an Estimator within commercial construction
- Ground-up construction experience strongly preferred
- Ability to estimate projects across a variety of sectors including commercial, retail, healthcare, multifamily, manufacturing, and institutional work
- Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and estimating practices
- Experience utilizing Procore and Microsoft Office products
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a close-knit team environment
- Stable work history and a strong cultural fit are highly valued
