Estimator - Commercial Construction

A well-established commercial general contractor in the Dallas–Fort Worth area is adding an Estimator to its preconstruction team. You'll help price ground-up commercial projects from early budgets through final bids, working alongside a team that values accuracy, collaboration and long-term growth.

What You'll Do

• Prepare quantity take-offs and estimates for ground-up commercial projects
• Solicit, review and level subcontractor and supplier bids
• Review drawings and specifications to define scopes and catch gaps
• Help build conceptual budgets and hard-bid pricing
• Work with project managers and superintendents on constructability and value engineering
• Support the handoff of awarded projects to the operations team

What You Bring

• 2–4 years of commercial estimating experience, including at least 1 year with a general contractor
• Experience on ground-up commercial projects
• Strong take-off skills and comfort with estimating software
• Good organization, attention to detail and clear communication
• A degree in construction management or a related field is a plus
