• Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for concrete projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Review project plans and specifications to understand project scope and requirements.
• Gather pricing information from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure accuracy in estimates.
• Collect and maintain historical data and cost databases to support estimating practices.
• Assist in compiling estimates into comprehensive bid packages for presentation to clients.
• Work with project managers and engineers to address any discrepancies or changes in project scope during the estimating phase.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates and project correspondence for future reference.
• Engage in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance estimating skills, particularly in concrete construction methods and industry trends
• Promote Suntec's core principles to cultivate a collaborative, accountable work culture and encourage an ESOP mindset.
• 2+ years of experience in construction estimating or related roles
• Basic understanding of concrete construction methods, materials, and specifications.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, especially when working under tight deadlines.
• A proactive attitude toward professional development and learning new estimating techniques or software tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic estimating software

Suntec Concrete is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our preconstruction team in Denver, CO. This role will be responsible for taking off quantities, pricing, and assembling bid packages for commercial concrete projects.
