Estimator

Key Responsibilities • Develop accurate budgets for projects at conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction document phases • Prepare competitive hard-bid estimates for plan and spec projects • Assist the service department with smaller project estimates and line-item budgets • Perform value engineering analysis to optimize project costs • Manage multiple estimates simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and deadlines • Present budgets and estimates to clients, providing supporting documentation as needed • Collaborate with designers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams throughout the estimating process Qualifications & Skills • Ability to build and maintain strong client and vendor relationships • Skilled at developing scope of work from limited or conceptual information • Strong mathematical, analytical, and writing skills • Creative problem-solving abilities • Growth mindset with a desire to contribute to company expansion • Strong computer proficiency • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Confident presentation skills Education & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field • 3–5 years of commercial construction estimating experience Construction Estimator Location: Columbus, OH Job Type: Direct Hire | Full-Time Position Overview Our client, a reputable general contractor based in Columbus, OH, is seeking a Commercial Construction Estimator to join their growing team.
