Builtech is currently seeking an Estimator ready to join our fast-paced and team-oriented environment. Responsibilities: - Process RFP, RFQ and internal pricing requests and facilitate broadcast announcements of bidding opportunities.
- Analyze drawings and specifications.
- Competently draft, proof, audit, and deliver proposals.
- Solicit and engage subcontractors to provide proposals.
- Qualify subcontractor proposals for completeness and compliance with project documents.
- Ensure Builtech's compliance with bidding regulations and goals for each project.
- Maintain relationships with clients and subcontractors.
- Work on multiple client bids simultaneously and deliver in accordance with deadline objectives.
- Identify and execute strategic opportunities within a proposal to optimize Builtech's position in securing work.
Requirements: - Ideally 3-6 years of construction experience

- Experience with internet-based bidding sites is preferred (Building Connected, Gradebeam, SmartBid, etc)
- Proficient with Microsoft (Outlook, Excel and Word) and BlueBeam
- Effective communication and ability to work independently.
- Must be able to multitask; handling many diverse projects at once while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position 95% of the time
- The ability to constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as computer keyboards, copy machines, and computer printers
- The ability to occasionally lift and carry lightweight office items like supplies or equipment
- Valid driver's license
