We are currently looking for a talented and experienced Heavy Civil Estimator with at least 3-5 years of Heavy Civil experience and an entrepreneurial spirit to join our dynamic team.

     Responsibilities:

    • Analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential opportunities and risks.
    • Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for heavy civil projects including: earthwork, utilities, roads, and other infrastructure components.
    • Conduct thorough quantity take-offs and solicit competitive quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
    • Collaborate with project teams to establish and track project schedules and milestones.
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
    • Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and vendors to ensure favorable terms, conditions, and pricing.
    • Monitor subcontractor performance and address any issues promptly.
    • Identify and assess potential risks associated with projects and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in heavy civil construction.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience as a Heavy Civil Estimator with a minimum of 3-5 years in the industry.
    • Strong proficiency in estimating software and project management tools.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Thorough understanding of heavy civil construction processes, materials, and methods.
