This large, experienced workforce enables Blythe Development to self-perform 80% of site groundwork, which gives them greater control than competitors who must subcontract the bulk of the job.Blythe Development is looking for a CAD Technician to join our Estimating Department in South Charlotte, NC.We are a large Heavy Highway/Civil Contractor with our primary office located in Charlotte, NC. The position would include the following, but not limited to:Aid in consulting with clients and members of the design and construction teams to discuss specifics for design build projects.Create models and produce quantities for earthwork and underground utility.Update existing projects with new surfaces from drone files.Incorporating Geotech information into earthwork files & quantities.Transferring Cad information into earthwork software.QualificationsStrong computer backgroundKnowledge of CAD-based platforms including Blue Beam Revu, Excel, and Agtek are a plusAbility to work together and communicate as a teamAbility to multitask while working on multiple projects at the same timeEffective time management and logical decision-making abilityCapacity to handle pressureStrong focus on quality and accuracy is requiredAssociates or Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferredBenefitsEmployee Stock Ownership ProgramPaid Time Off401k + matchingMedical, dental, vision, life, disability, supplemental insurance programsEqual Opportunity EmployerDrug Free Workplace
