Estimating Assistant - Kansas City Construction

Our client is a reputable commercial general contractor with nearly four decades of success delivering ground-up, tenant improvement, and renovation projects across multiple market sectors.

• Support the estimating team throughout the preconstruction and bidding process.
• Contact subcontractors and suppliers to solicit and track bid submissions.
• Make a high volume of outbound calls to subcontractors, typically 150-200 calls per week.
• Assist with project setup and bid administration activities.
• Organize, file, and maintain bid documents and project information.
• Track and follow up on outstanding quotations and subcontractor responses.
• Coordinate information between estimators, project management, and field teams.
• Help ensure estimates and bid packages are complete, organized, and submitted on time.
• Contribute to a collaborative office environment with regular team communication and coordination.

• Base salary $60,000 - $85,000
• Annual discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance
• Profit-sharing program paid prior to year-end
• 120 hours of PTO (combined holiday and sick leave)
