Job SummaryThis position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact by preparing students for successful careers in the Esthetics industry through hands-on, real-world training in a supportive learning environment. Under general supervision, the instructor will prepare lesson plans for classroom instruction for credited technical/occupational courses. The instructor will prepare standardized course syllabi using a provided template and assess students’ satisfactory progress based on established course grading requirements. This instructor will teach courses for certificate program while maintaining knowledge of current trends and developments in the field. This instructor will teach skin care, color, and makeup and facial treatments courses among others in a classroom and lab environment that closely simulates the industry and follows curriculum standards. The instructor will provide instruction in the theory and practical applications of Esthetics.

Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a part-time instructional position. The work load is Monday-Thursday.
TravelTravel to other campuses and outside of the service delivery area is a possibility for meetings, trainings, and professional development.
