The program will run from January through March 2027, not to exceed 25 hours per coach. Responsibilities:Provide guidance and support for one team of 6 students composed of 5th graders from Brandt, Connors, or Wallace Elementary Schools.Facilitate weekly after-school sessions at Hoboken High School, ensuring students document their progress in Engineering Logbooks.Encourage teamwork, innovation, and problem-solving aligned to STEM and engineering practicesCollaborate, communicate, and organize weekly sessions with NJIT Student Mentors.Attend a live,virtual professional development workshop on a date TBD.Participate in a hands-on session with the provided technology that will be used for the challenge prior to the challenge kick-off.Accompany and support the student team during the on-campus Challenge Day at NJIT on Wednesday, March 24, 2027 (7:00 AM3:00 PM).CertificationScience, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics Content Area Teachers (Preferred) and NJDOE certificate holders are encouraged to apply.CompensationAs per the HEA Contract
