    Role Description The Estate & Probate Paralegal is a full-time, on-site role based in St. Louis Park, MN. This position supports attorneys with estate planning and probate matters, including drafting and organizing legal documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and probate filings. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing case files, coordinating with courts and agencies, tracking deadlines, and maintaining accurate records. The paralegal will communicate regularly with clients to gather information, provide updates, and ensure they understand the process. Additional tasks include legal research, document review, and collaborating with the team to improve procedures and client service.

    Qualifications

    • Foundational knowledge of Law related to estate planning, probate, and trusts, with the ability to apply legal concepts to client matters.
    • \n
    • Strong Legal Document Preparation skills for drafting, formatting, and organizing estate and probate documents with attention to detail.
    • \n
    • Careful Document Review skills to identify inconsistencies, ensure accuracy, and maintain compliance with legal and firm standards.
    • \n
    • Paralegal certificate or relevant associate or bachelor’s degree preferred; prior estate or probate paralegal experience is highly beneficial.

    • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple matters and meet deadlines.

    • Comfort working with legal practice management software, document management tools, and standard office applications.

    • Commitment to client-centered service, discretion with confidential information, and ability to work collaboratively in a small firm environment.
