LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with an established organization to hire an Estate Planning Specialist. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced estate planning attorney, paralegal, or trust professional who enjoys helping clients navigate complex information and is interested in moving away from billable hours.

You'll work directly with clients to review their existing estate plans, understand their goals, and identify potential gaps or risks. Your focus will be on explaining estate planning concepts and helping clients understand considerations and possible next steps. This role does not involve providing legal advice.

Responsibilities:

• Review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance directives, buy/sell agreements, and related documents to evaluate alignment with clients' goals
• Identify potential gaps, risks, and planning considerations based on clients' existing documents and asset information
• Explain complex estate planning concepts and strategies in clear, approachable language
• Work directly with clients to gather relevant documents and understand their planning objectives
• Collaborate with internal financial planning, tax, and client service professionals to support a coordinated client experience
• Manage daily calls and follow-up with clients and internal partners while maintaining confidentiality

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in trust and estate planning, with a background as an attorney, paralegal, legal assistant, law clerk, or trust professional
• Experience working with complex estates and a strong understanding of trusts
• Ability to analyze estate planning documents and identify issues that may affect clients' goals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort with frequent phone conversations
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to build credibility and trust quickly and handle sensitive information with discretion
