LHH is recruiting an estate Planning & probate paralegal for a downtown law firm. No billable hour requirement.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with probate and trust administration, including preparing necessary filings and correspondence.
  • Prepare and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
  • Coordinate asset transfers, distributions, and funding of trusts.
  • Draft and file court documents related to estate and trust matters.
  • Communicate directly with clients, financial institutions, and other professionals to facilitate estate and trust administration.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of four years of experience of being a paralegal or legal assistant in trusts & estates, preferably with high-net-worth clients.
  • Strong background in probate and trust administration.
  • Experience preparing federal estate tax returns is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage in significant direct client contact
